Once upon a time in the bustling city of Birmingham, there lived a man named Khalid. From a tender age, Khalid harboured a deep fascination for bringing his vivid imagination to life through art. Yet, societal norms whispered doubts in his ear, suggesting that art was a realm reserved for the feminine touch, nudging boys towards more "practical" pursuits. Despite a flicker of encouragement from a wise teacher, Khalid tucked away his artistic dreams, only to revisit them decades later, in the golden years of his fifties. In 2017, fuelled by a relentless desire to create, Khalid tentatively stepped into the realm of art once more, joining a local arts group. There, amidst the scent of graphite and the soft rustle of charcoal, Khalid discovered a dormant talent waiting to bloom. With each stroke of his pencil, he felt a sense of liberation, encouraged by the affirmations of friends and family who marvelled at his newfound skill. Yet, life's inevitable twists and turns forced Khalid to press pause on his artistic journey, if only for a fleeting moment. But in 2021, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Khalid returned with a fierce determination, ready to conquer the art world once and for all. Galleries became his playground, his canvases a stage for his imagination to dance upon. And as whispers of admiration swirled around his work, Khalid realized that this was more than just a hobby—it was his calling. With a heart full of ambition and a head brimming with ideas, Khalid vowed to take his artistry to new heights. No longer confined by the boundaries of photorealism, he sought solace in the surreal, diving headfirst into the abstract abyss of his mind. For Khalid, art was not just about creating pretty pictures—it was a journey of self-discovery, a quest to unlock the mysteries of the soul. And as he ventured forth, he carried with him the belief that art had the power to ignite sparks of joy and inspiration in the hearts of others. With each stroke, Khalid painted not just a picture, but a story—a story of resilience, passion, and the unwavering pursuit of dreams. And as he embarked on this grand adventure, he knew that the best was yet to come.

He was born in the city of Jerez de los Caballeros (Spain) in 1973. He studied at the University of Seville and the University of Salamanca in Spain and is currently a professor of music in the region of Extremadura. The latest album, called Hijos de la Constancia, is a mixture of several instrumental styles. From rock and metal elements to soundtracks with classic and symphonic elements. Always wrapped in a mystical and dreamlike attraction. The title refers to the fruit of perseverance, work and insistence to create what I consider my musical children or influences in the form of songs. Each theme has a very personal style. Although it has influences from different elements, something new has been achieved, although you can't deny the classic influences, from soundtracks or more progressive groups focused on rock. https://www.facebook.com/Tinocus01 Músico, musicólogo y compositor español. I was born in the magical city of Seville, when my country was recovering from a bloody war. Since I was a child, my interests were directed towards art. I used to invent worlds and universes full of princesses and dragons, where I was the hero who rescued them. These worlds filled me more than the precarious reality of those times. I was also captivated by the flamenco rhythms and melodies that could be heard in the streets. They helped to alleviate the grey everyday life that surrounded us. As a young man, I became a musician. I worked with flamenco artists until I discovered blues and jazz. I traveled the world and eventually settled in San Francisco, California. There, I embraced my true passion: literature. Today, I write and write, and I have published several books, one in English and three in Spanish. In this virtual corner, I hope to share my ideas and concerns with you.
