“My music is inspired by Latin American rock, mainly from Argentina, and English rock. I like to make music with riffs with distorted guitars and repetitive drum bases.”

The darkness of Joy Division with a Cerati/Spinetta touch.

Yetcop's sound is like chewing gum. It starts with a subtle flavor, and then transforms into flavors you've never tried before, of wild and exotic fruits harvested on another planet.

Yetcop is a band with only one member, Kanto Rendón, who previously belonged to projects such as Círculos De Nada, The Clems, Los Trivetts and Octavo Día.

His main influences are Emerson Lake & Palmer, Claude Bolling, Joy Division, Gary Numan, Gustavo Cerati, Luis Alberto Spinetta, The Cure, David Bowie, and Los Tres.

“This solo adventure began when the idea of creating solo music got into my head. What could come out? That idea spinning around in my head filled me with curiosity, for this reason I left the groups I was in to focus on this new journey.”
